     Venerable James Croft was born on 2 July 1784.¹ He was the son of Reverend Robert Nicholas Croft and Elizabeth Wanley Bowes.² He married Charlotte Manners-Sutton, daughter of Most Rev. Charles Manners-Sutton and Mary Thoroton, on 5 October 1812.³ He died on 9 May 1869 at age 84.³
     He held the office of Archdeacon of Canterbury.³

     Mary Oliver was the daughter of Laver Oliver.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Francis Manners-Sutton, son of Most Rev. Charles Manners-Sutton and Mary Thoroton, on 27 July 1814.¹ She died on 7 May 1843.¹
     Her married name became Manners-Sutton.

     Lucy Maria Charlotte Denison was the daughter of John Denison and Maria Charlotte Horlock.^1,2 She married Charles Manners-Sutton, 1st Viscount Canterbury, son of Most Rev. Charles Manners-Sutton and Mary Thoroton, on 8 July 1811 at Lambeth Palace, Lambeth, London, England^G.² She died on 7 December 1815 at Ossington, Nottinghamshire, England^G.²
     Her married name became Manners-Sutton.

     Ellen Power was born circa 1791.³ She was the daughter of Edmund Power.¹ She married, firstly, John Home Purves, son of Sir Alexander Purves, 5th Bt. and Mary Home, circa 1810.^1,4 She married, secondly, Charles Manners-Sutton, 1st Viscount Canterbury, son of Most Rev. Charles Manners-Sutton and Mary Thoroton, on 6 December 1828 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.³ She died on 16 November 1845 at Clifton, Bristol, England^G, without surviving male issue.³ She was buried at Clifton, Bristol, England^G.³ Her will was proven (by probate) in January 1846.³
     From circa 1810, her married name became Purves.¹ Her married name became Manners-Sutton. After her marriage, Ellen Power was styled as Viscountess Canterbury on 10 March 1835. Her last will was dated October 1845.

     Christopher Nugent, Lord Delvin was born in 1604.¹ He was the son of Richard Nugent, 1st Earl of Westmeath and Jane Plunkett.^1,2 He married Lady Anne Mac Donnell, daughter of Randal Mac Sorley Mac Donnell, 1st Earl of Antrim and Alice O'Neill.¹ He died on 10 July 1625.¹
     He was styled as Lord Delvin between 1621 and 1625.¹

     Lady Catherine Manners was the daughter of John Manners, 2nd Duke of Rutland and Catherine Russell.² She married Rt. Hon. Henry Pelham, son of Thomas Pelham, 1st Baron Pelham of Laughton and Lady Grace Holles, on 29 October 1726.¹ She died on 18 February 1780.¹
     From 29 October 1726, her married name became Pelham.

     Rt. Hon. Henry Pelham was born in 1696.¹ He was the son of Thomas Pelham, 1st Baron Pelham of Laughton and Lady Grace Holles.³ He married Lady Catherine Manners, daughter of John Manners, 2nd Duke of Rutland and Catherine Russell, on 29 October 1726.¹ He died on 6 March 1754.¹

     Lady Frances Manners was the daughter of John Manners, 2nd Duke of Rutland and Catherine Russell.¹ She married Hon. Richard Arundell, son of John Arundell, 2nd Baron Arundell of Trerice and Barbara Slingsby, on 2 September 1732.¹
     Her married name became Arundell.

     Lady Elizabeth Manners was born circa 1709.¹ She was the daughter of John Manners, 2nd Duke of Rutland and Catherine Russell.² She married John Monckton, 1st Viscount Galway, son of Robert Monckton and Theodosia Fountaine.¹ She died on 22 March 1730.¹
     Her married name became Monckton.

     Charles John Manners-Sutton, 2nd Viscount Canterbury was born on 17 April 1812.¹ He was the son of Charles Manners-Sutton, 1st Viscount Canterbury and Lucy Maria Charlotte Denison.¹ He was baptised on 22 April 1812 at Chapel, Lambeth Palace, Lambeth, London, England^G.² He died on 13 November 1869 at age 57 at Chesterfield Street, Mayfair, London, England^G, unmarried.² He died intestate and his estate was administered on 29 November 1869, at under £2,000.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Canterbury, of the City of Canterbury [U.K., 1835] on 21 July 1845.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Bottesford of Bottesford, co. Leicester [U.K., 1835] on 21 July 1845.¹
