Josef Karl Emanuel Pfalzgraf von Sulzbach was born on 2 November 1694 at Sulzbach, Germany.2,3 He was the son of Theodore Pfalzgraf von Sulzbach and Marie Eleonore von Hessen-Rheinfels.2 He married Elisabeth Auguste Sophie Pfalzgräfin von der Pfalz, daughter of Karl III Philip Kurfürst von der Pfalz and Luise Charlotte Radziwill, in 1717.2 He died on 18 July 1729 at age 34 at Oggersheim, Pfalz, GermanyG.2,3
