     Lord Claud Hamilton was born on 27 July 1813.¹ He was the son of James Hamilton, Viscount Hamilton and Harriet Douglas.¹ He married Lady Elizabeth Emma Proby, daughter of Admiral Granville Leveson Proby, 3rd Earl of Carysfort and Isabella Howard, on 7 August 1844.¹ He died on 3 June 1884 at age 70.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Tyrone between 1835 and 1837.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Tyrone between 1839 and 1874.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) on 27 February 1852.^1,2 He held the office of Vice-Chamberlain of the Household between 1866 and 1868.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel on 19 July 1867 in the Donegal Militia.²

     Lady Elizabeth Emma Proby was born in 1821.² She was the daughter of Admiral Granville Leveson Proby, 3rd Earl of Carysfort and Isabella Howard.^1,3 She married Lord Claud Hamilton, son of James Hamilton, Viscount Hamilton and Harriet Douglas, on 7 August 1844.¹ She died on 24 June 1900.¹
     From 7 August 1844, her married name became Hamilton.

     Admiral Granville Leveson Proby, 3rd Earl of Carysfort was born on 12 November 1782 at Stamford, Lincolnshire, England^G. He was the son of John Joshua Proby, 1st Earl of Carysfort and Elizabeth Osborne.² He married Isabella Howard, daughter of Hon. Hugh Howard and Catherine Bligh, on 5 April 1818 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.² He died on 3 November 1868 at age 85 at Elton Hall, Huntingdonshire, England^G.² His will was proven (by probate) on 8 January 1869, at under £60,000 in England and £140,000 in Ireland.²
     He was educated between 1792 and 1799 at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.² He was commissioned in 1799 with the rank of officer, in the service of the Royal Navy.² He fought in the Battle of the Nile.² He fought in the Battle of Trafalgar.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for County Wicklow between 1816 and 1829.² He held the office of Sheriff of County Wicklow in 1831.² He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1841.² He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1851.² He succeeded as the 4th Baron Carysfort, of Carysfort, co. Wicklow [I., 1752] on 11 June 1855.² He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Carysfort [I., 1789] on 11 June 1855.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Carysfort, of the Hundred of Norman Cross, co. Huntingdon [U.K., 1801] on 11 June 1855.² He gained the rank of Admiral in 1857.²

     Isabella Howard was born on 7 August 1783 at Stamford, Lincolnshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Hon. Hugh Howard and Catherine Bligh.¹ She married Admiral Granville Leveson Proby, 3rd Earl of Carysfort, son of John Joshua Proby, 1st Earl of Carysfort and Elizabeth Osborne, on 5 April 1818 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ She died on 22 January 1836 at age 52 at Glenart, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.¹
     From 5 April 1818, her married name became Proby. She was Member of Parliament (M.P.) (see edn WICKLOW in 1970.³

     Robert Philippe Louis Eugène Ferdinand d'Orléans, Duc de Chartres was born on 9 November 1840 at Palais de Tuileries, Paris, France^G.³ He was the son of Ferdinand Philippe d'Orléans, Prince héréditaire de France and Helene Luise Elisabeth Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Schwerin.⁴ He married Françoise Marie Amélie d'Orléans, Princesse de France, daughter of François Ferdinand d'Orléans, Prince de France and Franziska Caroline de Bragança, Infanta de Portugal e Brasil, on 11 June 1863 at Kingston-upon-Thames, London, England^G.³ He died on 5 December 1910 at age 70 at Saint-Firmin, France^G.³
     He gained the title of Duc de Chartres.¹

     Françoise Marie Amélie d'Orléans, Princesse de France was born on 14 August 1844 at Neuilly-sur-Seine, Paris, Île-de-France, France^G.³ She was the daughter of François Ferdinand d'Orléans, Prince de France and Franziska Caroline de Bragança, Infanta de Portugal e Brasil.³ She married Robert Philippe Louis Eugène Ferdinand d'Orléans, Duc de Chartres, son of Ferdinand Philippe d'Orléans, Prince héréditaire de France and Helene Luise Elisabeth Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Schwerin, on 11 June 1863 at Kingston-upon-Thames, London, England^G.³ She died on 28 October 1925 at age 81 at Château de Saint-Firmin, Saint-Firmin, France^G.⁴ She was buried at Dreux, Department Eure et Loire, France^G.⁴
     She gained the title of Princesse Françoise de France.⁵

     Mathilde Emilie Francesca Maria Calvi, Contessa di Bergolo was born on 17 September 1885 at Buenos Aires, Argentina^G.^2,3 She was the daughter of Carlo Giorgio Calvi, Conte di Bergolo and Baroness Anna Guidobono Calvalchini Roero San Severino.^1,4 She married Aage Christian Alexander Robert zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Count of Rosenborg, son of Waldemar zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Prince of Denmark and Marie Amélie Françoise Hélène d'Orléans, Princesse d'Orléans, on 17 January 1914 at Turin, Italy^G, in a civil marriage.¹ She died on 16 October 1949 at age 64 at Copenhagen, Denmark^G.⁴
     She gained the title of Contessa di Bergolo.¹

     Lois Frances Booth was born on 2 August 1897 at Ottawa, Ontario, Canada^G.¹ She was the daughter of John Frederick Booth.¹ She married Erik Frederik Christian Alexander zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Count af Rosenborg, son of Waldemar zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Prince of Denmark and Marie Amélie Françoise Hélène d'Orléans, Princesse d'Orléans, on 11 February 1924 at Ottawa, Ontario, Canada^G.^2,3 She and Erik Frederik Christian Alexander zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Count af Rosenborg were divorced on 12 February 1937 at Copenhagen, Denmark^G.¹ She married Thorkild Juelsberg after 1938.¹ She died on 26 February 1941 at age 43 at Copenhagen, Denmark^G.¹

     Anne Ferelith Fenella Bowes-Lyon was born on 4 December 1917 at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.^G.³ She was the daughter of Hon. John Herbert Bowes-Lyon and Hon. Fenella Hepburn-Stuart-Forbes-Trefusis.³ She married, firstly, Lt.-Col.
