Piers de Mauley, 5th Lord de Mauley was the son of Piers de Mauley.2 He married Lady Maud Neville, daughter of Ralph de Neville, 1st Earl of Westmorland and Lady Margaret de Stafford, before 6 August 1400.1 He died on 6 September 1415, without male issue.1

Sir Francis Barrington, 1st Bt. was born circa 1570.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Barrington and Winifred Pole.1 He married Joan Cromwell, daughter of Sir Henry Cromwell and Joan Warren.2 He died on 3 July 1628.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 12 July 1628.2
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Essex between 1601 and 1628.2 He was appointed Knight on 7 May 1603 at Theobalds, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.2 He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 19 March 1605/6.2 He was created 1st Baronet Barrington, of Barrington Hall [in Hatfield Broadoak], co. Essex [England] on 29 June 1611.1,2
