Margaret Cholmley was the daughter of Sir Roger Cholmley and Katherine Constable.1 She married, firstly, Sir Henry Gascoigne before 1558.1 She married, secondly, Henry Neville, 5th Earl of Westmorland, son of Ralph Neville, 4th Earl of Westmorland and Lady Catherine Stafford, before 21 June 1560.1 She died circa March 1570. She was buried on 2 April 1570 at St. Dunstan's-in-the-West Church, London, EnglandG.2 She died intestate and her estate was administered on 3 June 1570, to her son Thomas Gascoigne.2
From before 1558, her married name became Gascoigne.1 From before 21 June 1560, her married name became Neville.1 After her marriage, Margaret Cholmley was styled as Countess of Westmorland before 21 June 1560.
