     Vincent Wodehouse Yorke was born on 21 May 1869.2 He was the son of John Reginald Yorke and Sophia Matilde Henriëtte Bilitonia Barones van Tuyll van Serooskerken.2 He married Hon. Maud Evelyn Wyndham, daughter of Henry Wyndham, 2nd Baron Leconfield of Leconfield and Lady Constance Evelyn Primrose, on 24 August 1899.2 He died on 26 November 1957 at age 88.2
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He graduated with a Captain, Gloucester Imperial Yeomanry.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.2 He was awarded the Order of the Redeemer of Greece.2 He lived at Forthampton Court, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1

     John Reginald Yorke was born on 25 January 1836.1 He was the son of Joseph Yorke and Frances Antonia Pole-Carew.3 He married, firstly, Augusta Emmeline Douglas, daughter of General Sir Thomas Monteath Douglas, on 4 March 1862 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,4 He married, secondly, Sophia Matilde Henriëtte Bilitonia Barones van Tuyll van Serooskerken, daughter of Vincent Gildemeester Baron van Tuyll van Serooskerken and Charlotte Henrietta Mansfield, on 11 January 1868.1 He died on 27 March 1912 at age 76.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tewkesbury between 1864 and 1868.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Gloucester between 1872 and 1885.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tewkesbury between 1885 and 1886.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1892.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Worcestershire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Worcestershire.1 He lived at Forthampton Court, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1

     Sophia Matilde Henriëtte Bilitonia Barones van Tuyll van Serooskerken was born on 14 December 1850 at The Hague, The Netherlands.2 She was the daughter of Vincent Gildemeester Baron van Tuyll van Serooskerken and Charlotte Henrietta Mansfield.3,2 She married John Reginald Yorke, son of Joseph Yorke and Frances Antonia Pole-Carew, on 11 January 1868.1 She died on 4 August 1905 at age 54.1
     Her married name became Yorke.

     Vincent Gildemeester Baron van Tuyll van Serooskerken was born on 13 March 1812 at Bath, Somerset, England.2 He was the son of Karel Lodewijk Baron van Tuyll van Serooskerken Heer van Ijzendoorn and Maria Louise Gildemeester.2 He married Charlotte Henrietta Mansfield, daughter of John Edward Mansfield and Mary Buchanan Smith, on 8 August 1844 at London, England.3,2 He died on 17 March 1860 at age 48 at The Hague, The Netherlands.2

     Augusta Emmeline Douglas was the daughter of General Sir Thomas Monteath Douglas.2 She married John Reginald Yorke, son of Joseph Yorke and Frances Antonia Pole-Carew, on 4 March 1862 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,3 She died on 19 February 1863.1
     Her married name became Yorke.

General Sir Thomas Monteath Douglas1

     General Sir Thomas Monteath Douglas was born on 25 November 1788 at Hanover, Jamaica.2 He died on 18 October 1868 at age 79 at Stonebyres, Lanarkshire, Scotland.2
     He was given the name of Thomas Monteath at birth.2 He was commissioned on 4 December 1806 with the rank of Ensign, in the service of the Bengal Army.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 9 September 1808.2 He gained the rank of Major on 17 January 1829.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel on 2 April 1834.2 He fought in the Afghan War between 1838 and 1842.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 20 December 1839.2 On 18 December 1850 his name was legally changed to Thomas Monteath Douglas on inheriting the estate of Douglas Support.2 He gained the rank of Major-General on 20 June 1854.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General on 18 March 1856.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 28 March 1865.1 He gained the rank of General on 9 April 1865.2

     Lieutenant Augustus Yorke was born on 11 February 1863.1 He was the son of John Reginald Yorke and Augusta Emmeline Douglas.2 He died on 29 June 1891 at age 28, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Gloucester Yeomanry Cavalry.1
