Lt.-Col. Sir James Edmund Henderson Neville, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 July 1897.1 He was the son of Sir Reginald James Neville Neville, 1st Bt. and Ida Henderson.1 He married Marie Louise Pierson, daughter of Charles Emmanuel Pierson, on 5 April 1932.1 He died on 24 June 1982 at age 84.2
Lt.-Col. Sir James Edmund Henderson Neville, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Edmund.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, where he was wounded twice.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Neville, of Sloley, co.
