Lt.-Col. Frederick Ekins Blakeney Loraine was born in 1842. He was the son of Sir John Lambton Loraine, 10th Bt.1 He married Evelyn Laura Mary Barrett-Lennard, daughter of Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt. and Emma Wood, on 5 June 1877.1 He died on 4 April 1914.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1

Ida Loraine was born in 1884.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Ekins Blakeney Loraine and Evelyn Laura Mary Barrett-Lennard.2 She married, firstly, Silvio George Rendel on 12 January 1905. She married, secondly, Sir Allen Aitchison Havelock Charles, 2nd Bt., son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Richard Havelock Charles, 1st Bt. and Gertrude Seton Gordon, on 24 June 1925.2 She died on 24 July 1944.2

Sir Richard Havelock Charles, 1st Bt. and Gertrude Seton Gordon.1 He married Ida Loraine, daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Ekins Blakeney Loraine and Evelyn Laura Mary Barrett-Lennard, on 24 June 1925.1 He died on 26 August 1936 at age 49, without issue.1
