Theresia Pauline Ott

     Theresia Pauline Ott married Henry Villiers-Stuart, 1st and last Baron Stuart de Decies, son of Lord Henry Stuart and Lady Gertrude Amelia Mason-Villiers, on 12 January 1826, He went through a form of marriage at St. James’s, Spanish Place, London W1, and (under Scottish law) in Scotland - she was widely regarded as his wife.1 She died on 7 August 1867 at Wiesbaden, Hessen, GermanyG.1
     She lived at Vienna, AustriaG.1 From 12 January 1826, her married name became Villiers-Stuart. After her marriage, Theresia Pauline Ott was styled as Baroness Stuart de Decies on 10 March 1839. Although she was alleged to have married in 1826 both at the Roman Catholic Chapel of St. James's Spanish Place and (under Scottish law) in Scotland, it was never established that this lady was free to marry.1

Henry Windsor Villiers-Stuart1

     Henry Windsor Villiers-Stuart was born on 13 September 1827.1 He was the son of Henry Villiers-Stuart, 1st and last Baron Stuart de Decies and Theresia Pauline Ott.1 He married Mary Power, daughter of Venerable Ambrose Power and Susan Thacker, on 3 August 1865.2 He died on 12 October 1895 at age 68.
     He was the Vicar between 1850 and 1871 at Bulkington, Warwickshire, EnglandG.3 He graduated from Durham University, Durham, County Durham, EnglandG, in 1852 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Waterford between 1873 and 1874.3 In 1876 claimed the barony but could not furnish proof of his parents’ marriage prior to his birth.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Waterford between 1880 and 1885.3 When he attempted to claim his father's title, he was asked to produce proof of his parents' marriage. This was not available and he was not allowed to assume the title.

     Mary Power was born in 1844.1 She was the daughter of Venerable Ambrose Power and Susan Thacker.1 She married Henry Windsor Villiers-Stuart, son of Henry Villiers-Stuart, 1st and last Baron Stuart de Decies and Theresia Pauline Ott, on 3 August 1865.2 She died on 14 September 1907.2
     Her married name became Villiers-Stuart.

     Major Henry Charles Windsor Villiers-Stuart was born on 3 August 1867. He was the son of Henry Windsor Villiers-Stuart and Mary Power. He married Grace Frances Newman, daughter of John Adam Richard Newman, on 20 August 1895.2 He died on 8 September 1908 at age 41.
     He lived at Dromana, County Waterford, IrelandG.

     Ferdinande Dorothée Joséphe Franeau d'Hyon was born on 18 June 1748.1 She married Auguste François Graaf de Lannoy, son of Charles François II Graaf de Lannoy and Marie Caroline Charlotte Françoise le Clément du Vault, on 23 April 1768 at Tournai, Belgium.1 She died on 15 October 1809 at age 61.1

     Geraldyn Mary Villiers-Stuart was born on 7 June 1896. She was the daughter of Major Henry Charles Windsor Villiers-Stuart and Grace Frances Newman.2 She married Ronald Cory-Wright, son of Sir Arthur Cory Cory-Wright, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Olive Clothier, on 16 June 1917.1 She died in 1976.1
     From 16 June 1917, her married name became Cory-Wright.1

     Ronald Cory-Wright was born on 19 December 1893.1 He was the son of Sir Arthur Cory Cory-Wright, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Olive Clothier.2 He married Geraldyn Mary Villiers-Stuart, daughter of Major Henry Charles Windsor Villiers-Stuart and Grace Frances Newman, on 16 June 1917.1 He died on 27 December 1932 at age 39.
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1
