     Ursula Margaret Strachey was born on 29 June 1911.1 She was the daughter of Colonel Richard John Strachey and Grace Alice Norman.1 She married Cyril Charles Wentzel, son of Charles Augustus Wentzel, on 12 December 1939.1 She died on 20 May 1999 at age 87.1
     She was IRD with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.1 From 12 December 1939, her married name became Wentzel.1

     Barbara Strachey was born on 17 July 1912.1 She was the daughter of Oliver Strachey and Rachel Pearsall Conn Costelloe.1 She married, firstly, Olaf Hultin, son of Professor Arvid Hultin, on 16 January 1934.1 She and Olaf Hultin were divorced in 1937.1 She married, secondly, Wolf Halpern, son of Dr. Georg Halpern, in September 1937.1 She died on 15 October 1999 at age 87.1
     She graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 From 16 January 1934, her married name became Hultin.1 From September 1937, her married name became Halpern.1
