     Edward Owen Paterson was born in 1988.¹ He is the son of Owen William Paterson and Hon. Rose Emily Ridley.¹

     John James is the son of P. L. James.¹ He married Hon. Mary Victoria Ridley, daughter of Matthew White Ridley, 4th Viscount Ridley and Lady Anne Katharine Gabrielle Lumley, in 1991.¹

     P. L. James lived at Meesden Hall, Hertfordshire, England.¹

     John Johnson lived at Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England.¹ He lived at Bebridge, England.¹

     Nicholas Ridley was born on 5 March 1748.¹ He was the son of Matthew Ridley and Elizabeth White.¹ He married Letitia Atkins, daughter of Hugh Atkins, in 1790.¹ He died on 1 January 1804 at age 55, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Master in Chancery.¹

     Letitia Atkins is the daughter of Hugh Atkins.¹ She married Nicholas Ridley, son of Matthew Ridley and Elizabeth White, in 1790.¹
     From 1790, her married name became Ridley.¹

     Frances Surtees was the daughter of Aubone Surtees and Elizabeth Stephenson.¹ She married Reverend Henry John Ridley, son of Matthew Ridley and Elizabeth White.¹ She died in June 1830.¹
     Her married name became Ridley.¹

     Mary Hone was born on 24 July 1808.¹ She was the daughter of John Hone and Anne Crosthwaite.¹ A settlement for the marriage between her and Richard Dyas was made on 15 January 1834.¹
     From 15 January 1834, her married name became Dyas.¹

     Elizabeth Ridley was the daughter of Reverend Henry John Ridley and Frances Surtees.¹ She died in July 1862.¹
