     Sir Thomson McLintock, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 April 1905.2 He was the son of Sir William McLintock, 1st Bt. and Margaret Lyons.3 He married Agnes Jean Thomson Aitken, daughter of Major Robert Traven Donaldson Aitken and Agnes Jean Thomson, on 26 July 1929.1 He died on 23 December 1953 at age 48, as the result of a car accident.1
     He was educated at Loretto School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He was a chartered accountant.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet McLintock, of Sanquhar, co. Dumfries U.K., 1934 on 8 May 1947.1

     Hon. Penelope Loader Maffey was born on 2 December 1910.2 She was the daughter of John Loader Maffey, 1st Baron of Rugby and Dorothy Gladys Huggins.1,2 She married Sir William Traven Aitken, son of Joseph Magnus Aitken and Katherine Margaret McAffee, on 28 April 1938.2 She died on 7 February 2005 at age 94.3
     Her married name became Aitken. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk in 1953.2 She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1955.1 She lived in 1999 at 2 North Court, Great Peter Street, London, EnglandG.1

Penelope Loader Maffey.1 She married, firstly, Mark Richard Durden-Smith, son of A. J. Durden-Smith, on 19 January 1968.1 She married, secondly, Arthur Nigel Davenport in May 1972.1 She married, thirdly, Patrick J. McGrath, son of Dr. Patrick Gerard McGrath, on 28 December 1991.1 She and Mark Richard Durden-Smith were divorced in 1971.1 She and Arthur Nigel Davenport were divorced in 1980.1
     She was educated at Riddlesworth Hall, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 She was educated at Sherborne School for Girls, Sherborne, Dorset, EnglandG.1 She was educated at St. Anne's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 In 1968 she acted in the film Some Girls Do.1 From 19 January 1968, her married name became Durden-Smith.1 An actress, appearing and directing many plays.1 She wrote the book A Girdle Around the Earth, published 1986.1 In 1988 she acted in the film A Fish Called Wanda.1

     John Loader Maffey, 1st Baron of Rugby was born on 1 July 1877.1 He was the son of Thomas Maffey and Penelope Mary Loader.2 He married Dorothy Gladys Huggins, daughter of Charles Lang Huggins and Agnes Maud Dingwall, on 28 August 1907.1 He died on 20 April 1969 at age 91.1

     Dorothy Gladys Huggins was the daughter of Charles Lang Huggins and Agnes Maud Dingwall.1 She married John Loader Maffey, 1st Baron of Rugby, son of Thomas Maffey and Penelope Mary Loader, on 28 August 1907.1 She died on 3 February 1973.1
     Her married name became Maffey. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 After her marriage, Dorothy Gladys Huggins was styled as Baroness Rugby on 10 February 1947.
