Gertrude Annie Elliott was the daughter of John Elliott.2 She married Sir Cyril Roe Muston Young, 4th Bt., son of Sir William Muston Need Young, 3rd Bt. and Isabella Leach, on 17 December 1912.1 She died on 9 March 1994.1

Sir John William Roe Young, 5th Bt. was born on 28 June 1913.1 He was the son of Sir Cyril Roe Muston Young, 4th Bt. and Gertrude Annie Elliott.2 He married, firstly, Joan Minnie Agnes Aldous, daughter of M. M. Aldous, in August 1946.1 He married, secondly, Joy Maureen Clarke, daughter of A. G. Clarke, in 1960.1 He died in 1981.1
He was educated at Elizabeth College, Guernsey, Channel Islands.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.1 He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in 1941 in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve Hong Kong.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Young, of Bailieborough Castle, County Cavan [U.K., 1821] on 15 June 1955.1

He was educated at Elizabeth College, Guernsey, Channel Islands.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1940 in the Hong Kong Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He was with: Young International Sales FL between 1973 and 1976.1 He was with Niedermeyer Martin Portland between 1976 and 1991.1 He lived in 2003 at 1151 North Shore Road, Lake Oswego, Oregon, U.S.A.1
