Sir Charles Michael Wolseley, 9th Bt. was born on 4 July 1846.1 He is the son of Sir Charles Wolseley, 8th Bt. and Mary Anne Selby.2 He married Anna Theresa Murphy, daughter of Daniel T. Murphy, on 18 July 1883.1 He died on 30 January 1931 at age 84.1
He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Wolseley, of Wolseley, co. Stafford [E., 1628] on 15 May 1854.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Staffordshire Militia and Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.1
