Sir Ernest Albert Seymour Bell was born in 1867.2 He married, firstly, Amie Beatrix Loynes, daughter of Edward Bunting Loynes and Harriet Akerman, on 12 August 1902.2 He married, secondly, Selina Maria Jones, daughter of Reverend John William Jones, on 19 January 1943.2 He died on 8 January 1955.3

Frank Erskine Bell was born on 18 September 1916 at Calcutta, India.2 He was the son of Sir Ernest Albert Seymour Bell and Amie Beatrix Loynes.3,4 He married Elisabeth Mary Willink, daughter of Sir Henry Urmston Willink, 1st Bt. and Cynthia Frances Fletcher, on 31 March 1951.1 He died on 14 July 1989 at age 72.
He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1938 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was commissioned in 1941 with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, in the service of the Royal Artillery.2 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW in Borneo.2 In 1955 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, he founded the Bell Language School.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1975.1
