     Ethel Torfrida Baldwin Wake was born on 3 September 1868 at Simla, Bengal, India.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake and Mary Mangles.³ She was baptised on 15 October 1868 at Simla, Bengal, India.² She married Frank Marchant, son of Stephen Walter Marchant, on 6 April 1895.¹ She died on 17 December 1947 at age 79.¹

     Ellen Mary Nethercote was born in 1848 at Moulton, Northamptonshire, England.² She was the daughter of Henry Osmond Nethercote and Charlotte Frances Allix.^3,2 She married Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake, son of Sir Charles Wake, 10th Bt. and Charlotte Tait, on 19 August 1871.¹ She died on 26 September 1912.¹
     From 19 August 1871, her married name became Wake.

     Mary Charlotte Baldwin Wake was born circa 1873. She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake and Ellen Mary Nethercote.² She died on 12 April 1965, unmarried.¹

     Henrietta Louisa Baldwin Wake was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake and Ellen Mary Nethercote.² She married Sir Henry Hamond Dawson Beaumont on 12 August 1908.¹ She died on 8 June 1964.¹
     From 12 August 1908, her married name became Beaumont.

     Sir Henry Hamond Dawson Beaumont married Henrietta Louisa Baldwin Wake, daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake and Ellen Mary Nethercote, on 12 August 1908.¹ He died on 15 December 1949.¹
     He was Minister Plenipoteniary, Diplomatic Service.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹

     Dorothy Blanche Baldwin Wake was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Baldwin Wake and Ellen Mary Nethercote.² She married Colonel John Henry Lang Sims, son of Samuel Sims, on 30 January 1901.¹ She died on 25 March 1950.¹
     From 30 January 1901, her married name became Sims.
