     David Urquhart of Braelangwell was born on 1 July 1805 at Braelangwell, Cromarty, Argyllshire, Scotland.^1,2 He was the son of David Urquhart of Braelangwell and Margaret Hunter.³ He married Harriet Angelina Fortescue, daughter of Lt.-Col. Chichester Fortescue and Martha Angel Hobson, on 5 September 1854 at Ardee, County Louth, Ireland.^1,4 He died on 16 May 1877 at age 71.^1,4
     He gained the rank of Naval Lieutenant.¹ He fought in the Greek War of Independence in 1828.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stafford between 1847 and 1852.^5,2 He lived at Braelangwell, Cromarty, Argyllshire, Scotland.¹

     Harriet Angelina Fortescue was born on 14 November 1824.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Chichester Fortescue and Martha Angel Hobson.⁴ She married David Urquhart of Braelangwell, son of David Urquhart of Braelangwell and Margaret Hunter, on 5 September 1854 at Ardee, County Louth, Ireland.^1,2 She died in 1889.²
     From 5 September 1854, her married name became Urquhart.^1,2

     David Urquhart of Braelangwell was born in 1855.¹ He was the son of David Urquhart of Braelangwell and Harriet Angelina Fortescue.² He died in 1928, without issue.¹

     Francis Fortescue Urquhart of Braelangwell was born in 1868.¹ He was the son of David Urquhart of Braelangwell and Harriet Angelina Fortescue.² He died in 1934, unmarried.¹
     He was Dean at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Reverend John Urquhart was born in 1673.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas Urquhart of Braelangwell and Henrietta Douglas.² He married Elizabeth Gordon, daughter of James Gordon of Newbigging, in August 1705.¹ He died in 1725.¹
     He was Minister at Gartly, Scotland.¹ He was Minister at St. Andrew's, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland.¹

     Elizabeth Gordon is the daughter of James Gordon of Newbigging.² She married Reverend John Urquhart, son of Reverend Thomas Urquhart of Braelangwell and Henrietta Douglas, in August 1705.¹
     From August 1705, her married name became Urquhart.

     Thomas Urquhart was born in 1710.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Urquhart and Elizabeth Gordon.² He married Isabella Forbes, daughter of William Forbes of Blackton, in June 1732.¹ He died in 1793.¹
     He lived at Clola, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹
