     Alexander Fraser, 11th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy was born in March 1604.1 He was the son of Alexander Fraser, 9th of Philorth and Hon. Margaret Abernethy.2 He married, firstly, Isabel Forbes, daughter of William Forbes of Tolquhoun.1 He married by contract, secondly, Elizabeth Seton, daughter of Alexander Seton of Meldrum, younger, on 27 June 1634.1 He died on 11 August 1693 at age 89.1
     He was educated at King's College, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 He was Covenanter before 1638.1 He was commander of the a regiment in the Scots intervention in the English Civil War on behalf of King Charles I.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aberdeenshire [Scotland] in 1648.1 He fought in the Battle of Worcester on 3 September 1651, for King Charles II.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aberdeenshire [Scotland] between 1661 and 1663.1 He succeeded as the 11th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy [S., 1445] after 9 March 1669.1

Alexander Fraser, Master of Saltoun

     Alexander Fraser, Master of Saltoun was born circa 1630.1 He was the son of Alexander Fraser, 11th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Isabel Forbes.1,2 He married, firstly, Lady Anne Kerr, daughter of William Kerr, 1st Earl of Lothian and Lady Anne Kerr, circa 11 January 1651/52.2 He married, secondly, Lady Marion Cuninghame, daughter of William Cuninghame, 8th Earl of Glencairn and Lady Janet Kerr, on 29 October 1660.2 He married, thirdly, Lady Sophia Erskine, daughter of Alexander Erskine, Viscount Fentoun and Lady Anne Seton, on 5 August 1663.2 He died in November 1682.1
     He was educated at King's College, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 He was styled as Master of Saltoun between 1669 and 1682.

     Lady Anne Kerr was born on 26 November 1631.1 She was the daughter of William Kerr, 1st Earl of Lothian and Lady Anne Kerr.1 She married Alexander Fraser, Master of Saltoun, son of Alexander Fraser, 11th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Isabel Forbes, circa 11 January 1651/52.1 She died on 30 August 1658 at age 26.2
     From circa 11 January 1651/52, her married name became Fraser.

     Lady Marion Cuninghame was the daughter of William Cuninghame, 8th Earl of Glencairn and Lady Janet Kerr.2 She married, firstly, James Ogilvy, 1st Earl of Findlater, son of Walter Ogilvy, 1st Lord Ogilvy of Deskford and Lady Mary Douglas.1 She married, secondly, Alexander Fraser, Master of Saltoun, son of Alexander Fraser, 11th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Isabel Forbes, on 29 October 1660.1 She died before January 1660/61, without issue.1
     After her marriage, Lady Marion Cuninghame was styled as Countess of Findlater. Her married name became Ogilvy.1 From 29 October 1660, her married name became Fraser.

     Alexander Erskine, Viscount Fentoun was the son of Thomas Erskine, 1st Earl of Kellie and Anne Ogilvy.1,2 He married Lady Anne Seton, daughter of Alexander Seton, 1st Earl of Dunfermline and Lilias Drummond, on 6 April 1610.2 He died on 11 February 1633.2
     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1616.2 He gained the title of Viscount Fentoun between 1619 and 1633.2

     Margaret Sharp was the daughter of Dr. James Sharp.1 She married William Fraser, 12th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy, son of Alexander Fraser, Master of Saltoun and Lady Anne Kerr, on 11 October 1683.1 She died in 1734.1
