     Captain Cecil Mark Merritt married Sophie Almon Tupper, daughter of Hon. Sir Charles Hibbert Tupper and Janet Macdonald, on 4 December 1905.¹ He died on 26 April 1915, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 16th Battalion, Canadian Scottish.¹

     Frances Lillian Tupper was the daughter of Hon. Sir Charles Hibbert Tupper and Janet Macdonald.² She married Lt.-Col. G. H. Kirkpatrick in September 1920.¹ She died on 28 July 1940.¹
     From September 1920, her married name became Kirkpatrick.

     Lt.-Col. G. H. Kirkpatrick married Frances Lillian Tupper, daughter of Hon. Sir Charles Hibbert Tupper and Janet Macdonald, in September 1920.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Janet Miriam Grace Tupper is the daughter of Hon. Sir Charles Hibbert Tupper and Janet Macdonald.² She married Major Walter Glen Cuyler Holland, son of Cuyler Armstrong Holland and Beatrice Maud Galpin, on 30 December 1915.¹
     From 30 December 1915, her married name became Holland.

     Major Walter Glen Cuyler Holland was born in 1889.² He was the son of Cuyler Armstrong Holland and Beatrice Maud Galpin.² He married Janet Miriam Grace Tupper, daughter of Hon. Sir Charles Hibbert Tupper and Janet Macdonald, on 30 December 1915.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Canadian Scottish Regiment.¹

     William Johnston Tupper was born on 29 June 1862.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Tupper, 1st Bt. and Frances Amelia Morse.² He married Margaret Macdonald, daughter of Hon. James Macdonald, on 6 July 1887.¹ He died on 16 December 1947 at age 85.¹
     He was a practising barrister in 1886.¹ He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.) in 1914.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Manitoba in 1934.¹ He was appointed Knight of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.)¹

     Robert Harvey of Mamulay married Janet Seaton.¹

     Margaret Macdonald was the daughter of Hon. James Macdonald.² She married William Johnston Tupper, son of Sir Charles Tupper, 1st Bt. and Frances Amelia Morse, on 6 July 1887.¹ She died on 28 February 1950.¹
     From 6 July 1887, her married name became Tupper.

     Charles William Tupper was born on 26 September 1898.¹ He was the son of William Johnston Tupper and Margaret Macdonald.² He married, firstly, Rae Macdonald in 1929.¹ He married, secondly, Winifred Lillian Craske in 1941.¹ He died on 31 October 1960 at age 62.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Canadian Artillery.¹

     Rae Macdonald married Charles William Tupper, son of William Johnston Tupper and Margaret Macdonald, in 1929.¹
     From 1929, her married name became Tupper.
