William Johnston Tupper was born on 29 June 1862.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Tupper, 1st Bt. and Frances Amelia Morse.2 He married Margaret Macdonald, daughter of Hon. James Macdonald, on 6 July 1887.1 He died on 16 December 1947 at age 85.1
