     William Skipwith was born on 2 December 1807.¹ He was the son of Sir Grey Skipwith, 8th Bt. and Harriet Townsend.² He married Louisa Gale, daughter of Edward Gregory Morant Gale and Emily Jane Gambier, on 8 September 1843.¹ He died on 25 September 1907 at age 99.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 47th Regiment.¹

     Emma Matcham was born in 1834.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Matcham.¹ She married Frederick Morant Gale, son of Edward Gregory Morant Gale and Emily Jane Gambier, on 22 October 1862 at St. Thomas, Ryde, Hampshire, England.¹
     From 22 October 1862, her married name became Gale.¹

     Louisa Gale was born in 1823.² She was the daughter of Edward Gregory Morant Gale and Emily Jane Gambier.^3,4 She married William Skipwith, son of Sir Grey Skipwith, 8th Bt. and Harriet Townsend, on 8 September 1843.¹ She died on 2 May 1908.¹
     From 8 September 1843, her married name became Skipwith.

     William Skipwith was born in 1844.¹ He was the son of William Skipwith and Louisa Gale.² He died on 8 July 1873, unmarried.¹
