     He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)¹

     Mary Ann Gregson was born circa 1802.¹ She married Thomas Starkie Shuttleworth, son of Thomas Starkie Shuttleworth and Lucy Clayton, on 3 July 1827 at Parish Church, Walton on the Hill, Lancashire, England.¹ She died on 24 June 1882.¹
     From 3 July 1827, her married name became Shuttleworth.¹

     Dr. Lewis Quier Bowerbank was born in 1814.¹ He was the son of Reverend Lewis Bowerbank.¹ He died in 1880.¹
