     Admiral Sir Peter Halkett of Pitferrane, 6th Bt. was born on 6 October 1765.2,3 He was the son of Sir John Wedderburn Halkett of Pitferrane, 4th Bt. and Mary Hamilton.2 He was baptised on 23 October 1765 at Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland.3 He married Elizabeth Todd, daughter of William Todd, on 14 October 1802.2 He died on 7 October 1839 at age 74.2
     He gained the rank of Admiral of the Blue.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.)2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Halkett, of Pitferrane [N.S., 1697] on 26 January 1837.1

     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Vicar at Sutton-at-Home, Kent, England.1

Frederick Hotham and Anne Elizabeth Hodges.1 She was baptised on 13 July 1808 at Weasenham All Saints, Norfolk, England.2 She married Reverend Charles Montagu Doughty, son of Reverend George Clarke Doughty and Catherine Revett, on 29 January 1840 at Dennington, Suffolk, England.2 She died on 1 September 1843.2
