     Georgiana Wilhelmina Ray was born on 5 September 1848.¹ She was the daughter of William Ray and Charlotte Fitzgerald.¹ She married Robert Brotherton Arbuthnott, son of Hon. David Arbuthnott, on 31 October 1866 at Madras, India.¹ She died on 1 November 1884 at age 36.¹
     From 31 October 1866, her married name became Arbuthnott.¹

     William Ross was the son of William de Ross, 5th Earl of Ross and Mary Macdonald.² He died in 1357, without issue.¹

     William Ray was born between 1803 and 1804.¹ He married, firstly, Matilda Elvina Taylor on 18 October 1833 at Madras, India.¹ He married, secondly, Charlotte Fitzgerald on 29 July 1840 at Black Town Chapel, Madras, India.¹ He died on 11 February 1852.¹

     Florence Elvina Ray was the daughter of William Ray and Charlotte Fitzgerald.¹ She married Henry Arbuthnott, son of Hon. David Arbuthnott, on 3 May 1872 at Baptist Church, New Town, Madras, India.¹ She died on 6 December 1876.¹
     From 3 May 1872, her married name became Arbuthnott.¹
