Captain Barry Nugent Yelverton, 5th Viscount Avonmore was born on 11 February 1859.1 He was the son of Major William Charles Yelverton, 4th Viscount Avonmore and Emily Marianne Ashworth.1 He died on 13 February 1885 at age 26 at Kerbekan, Sudan, from enteric fever while on active service, unmarried.1
