     From 6 April 1837, her married name became Cavagnari.¹

     He gained the rank of Ensign in the 1st Bengal Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the Indian Mutiny in 1858.¹ He was Assistant-Commissioner in the Punjab in 1861.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1877.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     Frances Diana Herbert was born circa 1824 at Ireland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Herbert and Harriet Pope.^2,3 She married George Frederick Pollock, son of Sir Frederick Pollock, 1st Bt. and Frances Rivers, on 18 December 1851.⁴ She died on 30 December 1891.⁴
     From 18 December 1851, her married name became Pollock.⁴
