Philip Richard Musgrave was born on 26 November 1873.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Courtenay Musgrave, 11th Bt. and Adora Frances Olga Wells.2 He married Ellen Watson in 1906.1 He died on 13 June 1929 at age 55.1

Sir Charles Musgrave, 14th Bt. was born on 9 November 1913.1 He was the son of Thomas Charles Musgrave and Ethel Frost.2 He married Olive Louise Avril Cringle, daughter of Patrick Cringle, on 5 June 1948.1 He and Olive Louise Avril Cringle were divorced in 1961.1 He died on 26 July 1970 at age 56.1
He was educated at Thurlestone College, England.1 He gained the rank of officer between 1934 and 1943 in the Rifle Brigade.1 He gained the rank of officer between 1943 and 1945 in the Royal Engineers.1 He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Musgrave, of Hartley Castle, Westmorland [E., 1611] on 19 February 1957.1
