Euphemia Stewart1

     Euphemia Stewart was the daughter of Walter Stewart, 3rd High Steward of Scotland and Beatrix of Angus.1 She married Patrick de Dunbar, 5th Earl of Dunbar, son of Patrick de Dunbar, 4th Earl of Dunbar and Ada (?), circa 1213.2 She died circa 1267.3

     Patrick de Dunbar, 5th Earl of Dunbar was the son of Patrick de Dunbar, 4th Earl of Dunbar and Ada (?)1 He married Euphemia Stewart, daughter of Walter Stewart, 3rd High Steward of Scotland and Beatrix of Angus, circa 1213.2 He died between May 1248 and December 1248 at Marseilles, FranceG, en route to the Holy Land to join the Crusade of St. Louis of France.2
     He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Dunbar [S., c. 1115] on 31 December 1232.2 In 1235 he led troops in suppression of the rebel Bastard of Galloway.2

     Elizabeth Stewart was the daughter of Alexander Stewart, 4th High Steward of Scotland and Jean Macrory.1 She married Sir William 'Le Hardi' Douglas of that Ilk, son of Sir William of Douglas.1
     Her married name became Douglas.1

     Katherine Cayley was the daughter of Sir George Cayley, 6th Bt. and Sarah Walker.1,2 She married, firstly, Henry Ralph Beaumont, son of Colonel Thomas Richard Beaumont and Diana Wentworth, on 19 May 1831.1 She married, secondly, Captain James Anlaby Legard, son of Reverend William Legard and Cecilia Elizabeth Oldershaw, on 6 May 1845.3 She died on 12 March 1887.1 She was also reported to have died on 11 March 1887.3
     From 19 May 1831, her married name became Beaumont.1 From 6 May 1845, her married name became Legard.1

Sir John Stewart of Bonkyl1

     Sir John Stewart of Bonkyl was the son of Alexander Stewart, 4th High Steward of Scotland and Jean Macrory.1,2 He married Margaret de Bonkyl, daughter of Sir Alexander de Bonkyl of that Ilk.1 He died on 22 July 1298 at Falkirk, Stirlingshire, ScotlandG, slain fighting for Sir William Wallace.1
     He fought in the Battle of Falkirk on 22 July 1298.1

     Sir John Stewart was the son of James Stewart, 5th High Steward of Scotland and Gille de Burgh.1 He died on 14 October 1318 at Dundalk, County Louth, IrelandG, slain.1
     He fought in the Battle of Dundalk on 14 October 1318.1

Sir George Cayley, 6th Bt.1

     Sir George Cayley, 6th Bt. was born on 27 December 1773.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Cayley, 5th Bt. and Isabella Seton.3 He married Sarah Walker, daughter of Reverend George Walker, on 9 July 1795.2 He died on 15 December 1857 at age 83.3
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Cayley, of Brompton, co. York [E., 1661] on 15 March 1792.2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Scarborough between 1832 and 1834.4 In 1853 at Brompton-by-Sawdon, Yorkshire, EnglandG, he was an aeronautical pioneer, organizing the first manned flight (though with his coachman, not himself, as pilot.)2 He also invented railway brakes and signalling systems, the tracked tank, artifical hands, self-righting lifeboats, mechanized agriculture and the tensioned spoked metal wheel later used in bicycles.2 He was founder of Regent Street Polytechnic, London (now University of Westminster) and a promoter of railway safety.2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.5
