     Anne Carnegie Milne was the daughter of William Milne.2 She married David Watson on 2 October 1867.1 She died on 13 October 1901.1

     Sir David Milne-Watson, 1st Bt. was born on 10 March 1869.1 He was the son of David Watson and Anne Carnegie Milne.2 He married Olga Cicely Herbert, daughter of Reverend George Herbert, on 27 June 1899.1 He died on 3 October 1945 at age 76.1
     He was given the name of David Watson at birth.2 He was educated at Merchiston Castle School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1896 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was appointed Knight in 1927.1 He was governor and managing director of Gas Light and Coke Company.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of London.1 He was chairman of the Joint Industrial Council of the Gas and Government Market Supply Committee Industry.1 He was President of the National Gas Council.1 He was created 1st Baronet Milne-Watson, of Ashley, Longbredy, co. Dorset [U.K.] on 11 June 1937.1 He was awarded the Birmingham Medal in 1938.1

     Sir David Ronald Milne-Watson, 2nd Bt. was born on 15 July 1904.1 He was the son of Sir David Milne-Watson, 1st Bt. and Olga Cicely Herbert.2 He died on 15 June 1982 at age 77 at Reading, Berkshire, England, unmarried.1,3
     Sir David Ronald Milne-Watson, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Ronald.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, Scotland.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd/5th Royal Gurkha Rifles (FF.)1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Milne-Watson, of Ashley, Longbredy, co.      Sir Michael Milne-Watson, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 February 1910.1 He was the son of Sir David Milne-Watson, 1st Bt. and Olga Cicely Herbert.2 He married Mary Lynette Gunion Bagnall, daughter of Harold Carleton Bagnall, on 27 March 1940.1 He died on 27 April 1999 at age 89.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was managing director of the Gas Light and Coke Company in 1933.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He was chairman of the North Thames Gas Board in 1949.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1953.1 He was chairman of Richard Thomas and Baldwins Ltd between 1964 and 1967.1 He was deputy chairman of BSC between 1967 and 1969.1 He was director of Commercial Union Assurance between 1968 and 1981.1 He was appointed Knight in 1969.1 He was chairman of William Press Group between 1969 and 1974.1 He was President of the Society of British Gas Industries between 1970 and 1971.1 He was Director of Finance for Industry between 1974 and 1980.1 He was President between 1975 and 1980 at Reading University, Reading, Berkshire, England.1 He was chairman of BUPA between 1976 and 1981.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Milne-Watson, of Ashley, Longbredy, co.
