     Edward Charles Rudge was born on 22 April 1928.² He was the son of John Edward Charles Rudge and Beryl Florence Doveton Hamlyn.^1,2 He married, secondly, Sandra Frances Weeks.³ He married, firstly, Marie Irene Thomas circa 1951 at Malaysia.⁴ He married, thirdly, Sheila Mae Guise, daughter of Rivett Arthur Guise and Beatrice Geraldine Rudge, in 1996.¹ He died on 6 September 2010 at age 82.⁵
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.²

     Hugh Rose Pope was born on 17 June 1889.¹ He was the son of Reverend Arthur Frederick Pope and Catherine Isabella Ellen Rose.¹ He died on 7 October 1912 at age 23 at Pic du Midi d'Ossau, France, fell while mountain climbing.² He was buried on 18 October 1912 at Orthez, France.²
