Lt.-Col. Octavius Rodney Everard Milman was born on 23 April 1882.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Everard Stepney Milman and Grace Henrietta Hamilton Bell.2 He married Mary Freya Haigh, daughter of Reverend William Edward Haigh, on 30 November 1911.1 He died on 19 June 1971 at age 89.1
