     Caroline Matilda Garstin was the daughter of Reverend Christopher J. Garstin.² She married Steuart Lambert Macnaghten, son of Francis Macnaghten and Ellen Charlotte Conolly, in 1878.¹ She died on 4 April 1929.¹
     From 1878, her married name became Macnaghten.

     Reverend Edmund Loftus Macnaghten was born in 1879.¹ He was the son of Steuart Lambert Macnaghten and Caroline Matilda Garstin.² He married Ethel May Scaife, daughter of Francis Scaife, in 1912.¹ He died circa 1942.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1902 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1918 in the Royal Engineers.¹ He was Rector in 1938 at Stanhoe with Barwick, Norfolk, England.¹

     Ethel May Scaife is the daughter of Francis Scaife.² She married Reverend Edmund Loftus Macnaghten, son of Steuart Lambert Macnaghten and Caroline Matilda Garstin, in 1912.¹

     Steuart Cecil Macnaghten was born on 4 October 1881.¹ He was the son of Steuart Lambert Macnaghten and Caroline Matilda Garstin.² He married Hilda Marion Jenks, daughter of Henry Jenks, on 6 February 1915.¹ He died on 9 November 1918 at age 37.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹

     Henry Jenks lived at Dunairds, Birnam, Perthshire, Scotland.¹ He lived at Barrow Hedges, Carshalton, Surrey, England.¹

     Hilda Marion Jenks was the daughter of Henry Jenks.² She married Steuart Cecil Macnaghten, son of Steuart Lambert Macnaghten and Caroline Matilda Garstin, on 6 February 1915.¹ She died on 28 December 1957.¹
     From 6 February 1915, her married name became Macnaghten.

     Steuart Patrick Macnaghten was born on 5 April 1917.¹ He is the son of Steuart Cecil Macnaghten and Hilda Marion Jenks.² He married Beatrix Metford, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Francis Metford, on 2 December 1961.¹
     Steuart Patrick Macnaghten usually went by his middle name of Patrick. He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Derbyshire Yeomanry.¹

     Beatrix Metford is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Francis Metford.¹ She married, firstly, Stanley Wyatt-Smith before 1961.¹ She married, secondly, Steuart Patrick Macnaghten, son of Steuart Cecil Macnaghten and Hilda Marion Jenks, on 2 December 1961.¹
     From before 1961, her married name became Wyatt-Smith.¹ From 2 December 1961, her married name became Macnaghten.

     Edmond Ross Macnaghten was born in 1845.¹ He was the son of Francis Macnaghten and Ellen Charlotte Conolly.² He married Harriet Garstin, daughter of Reverend Christopher J. Garstin, on 20 September 1876.¹ He died on 28 January 1905.¹
