Mary Hardinge was the daughter of General Hon. Sir Arthur Edward Hardinge and Mary Georgina Frances Ellis.1 She married Lt.-Col. Ivone Kirkpatrick, son of Alexander Richard Kirkpatrick and Catherine Louisa Trench, on 17 July 1894.1 She died on 10 November 1931.1
