Colonel John Thomas Massy-Westropp was born on 8 March 1837.1 He was the son of John Westropp and Georgina Wilhelmina Stamer.2 He married Margaret ffrance, daughter of Thomas Robert Wilson ffrance, on 6 June 1859.1 He died on 17 December 1903 at age 66.1
