Sir George Frederick Hammick, 4th Bt. was born on 24 September 1885.2 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Robert Frederick Hammick and Grace Caroline Longman.2 He married, firstly, Eileen Laura King, daughter of Colonel Francis John Newton King, on 29 September 1916.2 He married, secondly, Mary Eliza Welch-Thornton, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Welch-Thornton, on 5 May 1925.2 He died on 12 April 1964 at age 78.2
He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Hammick, of Cavendish Square, London [U.K., 1834] on 8 November 1927.2
