Alexander Gunn of Kilearnan and Navidale, 4th Mackeamish is the son of William Gunn of Kilearnan, 3rd Mackeamish and unknown Sinclair.2 He married, firstly, Catherine Gordon, daughter of John Gordon of Backies and Kilcalmcill, circa 1600.1 He married, secondly, Mary Mackay, daughter of Hugh 'Du' Mackay of Farr, Tongue and Strathnaver and Lady Jane Gordon, in April 1635.1
In 1649 he had a charter of the lands of Navidale to him and his heirs whatsoever.1

Catherine Gordon is the daughter of John Gordon of Backies and Kilcalmcill.2 She married Alexander Gunn of Kilearnan and Navidale, 4th Mackeamish, son of William Gunn of Kilearnan, 3rd Mackeamish and unknown Sinclair, circa 1600.1

John Gunn of Kilearnan and Navidale, 5th Mackeamish was born circa 1601.1 He was the son of Alexander Gunn of Kilearnan and Navidale, 4th Mackeamish and Catherine Gordon.2 He married, firstly, Ann MacLeod, daughter of Donald 'ban mor' MacLeod of Assynt, circa 1624.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Sinclair, daughter of Francis Sinclair, on 6 March 1641.1
In 1670 he was served heir general to his father in the lands of Navidale.1
