     Anna de Buffa is the daughter of Jean Baptiste de Buffa.2 She married, firstly, George Augustus Frederick Heathcote, son of Robert Heathcote and Elizabeth Searle, on 17 November 1841.1 She married, secondly, Baron M. de Chamisso de Boncourt on 26 December 1849.1
     From 17 November 1841, her married name became Heathcote. From 26 December 1849, her married name became Chamisso de Boncourt.1

     Maj.-Gen. Charles John Sackville-West, 4th Baron Sackville of Knole was born on 10 August 1870.2 He was the son of Hon. William Edward Sackville-West and Georgina Dodwell.1 He married, firstly, Maude Cecelia Bell, daughter of Captain Matthew John Bell, on 5 January 1897.2 He married, secondly, Anne Meredith, daughter of William Meredith, on 30 January 1924.2 He died on 8 May 1962 at age 91.2
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the Manipur Campaign in 1891, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice and was mentioned in despatches.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1915.2 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.2 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.2 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Kings Royal Rifle Corps.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal (D.S.M.) U.S.2 He was British Representative to the Supreme War Council Versailles between 1918 and 1919.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1919.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1921.2 He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Guernsey between 1925 and 1929.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Sackville of Knole, co. Kent [U.K., 1876] on 28 January 1928.2

     William Ropner was born on 17 September 1864.1 He was the son of Sir Emil Hugo Oscar Robert Ropner, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Craik.2 He married Sarah Woolacott Cory, daughter of Ebenezer Cory, on 18 April 1894.1 He died on 16 March 1947 at age 82.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Thorp Perrow, Bedale, Yorkshire, England.1 He was educated at Ambleside, West Hartlepool, County Durham, England.1

     Brig.-Gen. Sir Gilbert Simon Heathcote, 9th Bt. was born on 21 September 1913.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Robert Evelyn Manners Heathcote and Edith Millicent Walton.2 He married, firstly, Patricia Margaret Leslie, daughter of Brigadier James Travers Leslie, on 28 February 1939.2 He and Patricia Margaret Leslie were divorced in 1984.2 He married, secondly, Ann Hatton, daughter of W/Cdr. J. A. Hatton, on 2 April 1984.2 He died on 15 April 2014 at age 100.3
     Brig.-Gen.
