     Admiral Sir John Thomas Duckworth, 1st Bt. was born on 9 February 1748 at Leatherhead, Surrey, England.² He was the son of Reverend Henry Duckworth.³ He married, firstly, Anne Wallis, daughter of John Wallis, in 1776.² He married, secondly, Susannah Catherine Buller, daughter of Rt. Rev. William Buller and Anne Thomas, on 14 May 1808.³ He died on 31 August 1817 at age 69 at Admiralty House, Plymouth, Devon, England.²
     He gained the rank of Admiral of the White.³ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)³ He was created 1st Baronet Duckworth, of Topsham, co. Devon [U.K.] on 2 November 1813.³

     Anne Lake was born on 31 May 1806.¹ She was the daughter of Sir James Samuel William Lake, 4th Bt. and Maria Turner.¹ She was also reported to have been born on 31 May 1807.² She married Reverend Charles Frederick Rogers Baylay on 25 June 1833.¹ She was also reported to have been married on 20 June 1833.² She died on 9 March 1879 at age 72.¹ She was buried at Kirkley on Bain, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹
     From 25 June 1833, her married name became Baylay.¹

     Reverend Charles Frederick Rogers Baylay was born on 5 November 1805.¹ He married Anne Lake, daughter of Sir James Samuel William Lake, 4th Bt. and Maria Turner, on 25 June 1833.¹ He was also reported to have been married on 20 June 1833.³ He died on 3 April 1890 at age 84.³
     He was the Rector at Kirkley on Bain, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹

     Captain Edward Lake was born on 28 August 1807.¹ He was the son of Sir James Samuel William Lake, 4th Bt. and Maria Turner.¹ He was baptised on 24 September 1807 at Wellesbourne-Hastings, Warwickshire, England.² He married Clara Johnston, daughter of Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 7th Bt. and Maria Bacon, on 12 September 1839.³ He died on 8 January 1864 at age 56.¹ He was buried at Tonnay Charente, France^G.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Clara Johnston was born on 5 June 1810.¹ She was the daughter of Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 7th Bt. and Maria Bacon.¹ She married Captain Edward Lake, son of Sir James Samuel William Lake, 4th Bt. and Maria Turner, on 12 September 1839.² She died on 26 November 1862 at age 52.¹ She was also reported to have died on 25 November 1862.² She was buried at Tonnay Charente, France^G.¹
     From 12 September 1839, her married name became Lake.¹

     Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 7th Bt. was born on 3 August 1760.² He was the son of Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Cleland.³ He married, firstly, Maria Bacon, daughter of John Bacon, on 24 February 1783.² He married, secondly, Maria Bacon, daughter of John Bacon, in December 1802.² He died on 13 January 1844 at age 83 at The Hague, The Netherlands.²
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Johnston, of Caskieben [N.S., 1626] on 19 March 1794.² He fought against the French on the Malabar coast India.² In 1798 he raised a regiment of fencible infantry ‘The Prince of Wales's Own' (disbanded 1802.)² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Windsor between 1801 and 1802.² He was insolvent and lived in the grounds of Holyrood Abbey.² He lived at Hilton, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Maria Bacon was born in 1726.² She was the daughter of John Bacon.² She married Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 7th Bt., son of Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Cleland, on 24 February 1783.² She died in July 1802, without issue.²
     From 24 February 1783, her married name became Johnston.¹

     Willoughby Lake was born on 14 January 1811.¹ He was the son of Sir James Samuel William Lake, 4th Bt. and Maria Turner.¹ He died on 20 January 1811.¹ He was buried at London, England^G.¹

     Maria Lake was born on 25 November 1811.¹ She was the daughter of Sir James Samuel William Lake, 4th Bt. and Maria Turner.¹ She died on 20 May 1884 at age 72.¹

     Captain Willoughby John Lake was born on 26 December 1815.¹ He was also reported to have been born on 24 December 1815.² He was the son of Sir James Samuel William Lake, 4th Bt. and Maria Turner.¹ He married Almeria Philimore, daughter of William Phillimore and Almeria Thornton, on 14 July 1852.¹ He died on 16 December 1867 at age 51.¹ He was buried at Welwyn, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹
