Piers de Montfort was born circa 1205.2 He was the son of Thurston de Montfort.1 He married Alice d'Aldithley, daughter of Henry of Aldithley and Bertred Mainwaring.1 He died on 4 August 1265, killed in action.2
He held the office of Prolocutor of Parliament, now Speaker of the Hosue of Commons.2 He fought in the Battle of Evesham on 4 August 1265.2
