     Charles Durie of Craigluscar was born on 19 April 1815.¹ He was the son of Robert Durie of Craigluscar and Joanna Anne Taylor.² He married Christine Ronaldson, daughter of James Smith Ronaldson, on 2 August 1836.¹ He died in 1845 at Malaga, Spain^G.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Elizabeth Providence Durie was born on 21 February 1813.^1,2 She was the daughter of Robert Durie of Craigluscar and Joanna Anne Taylor.³ She was baptised on 27 February 1814 at Lamlash, Isle of Arran, Scotland.² She married Archibald Finnie Allan on 29 October 1833 at St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,2 She died in 1848.²
     From 29 October 1833, her married name became Allen.

     Caroline Rice was the daughter of Walter Rice and Eliazbeth Watkins.¹ She died on 4 April 1810.¹

     Joanna Ann Allan was born on 1 March 1841 at Cramond, Midlothian, Scotland.² She was the daughter of Archibald Finnie Allan and Elizabeth Providence Durie.³ She married James MacFarlane on 25 November 1869.² She died on 10 February 1931 at age 89 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.²
     From 25 November 1869, her married name became MacFarlane.²

     Nora Glendinning married, secondly, Robert Nugent Dewar-Durie, son of William Andrew Dewar-Durie and Elizabeth Dewar-Durie of Craigluscar, in 1943.¹
     She lived at Shanghai, China^G.¹ Her married name became Scott.¹ From 1943, her married name became Dewar-Durie.¹

     Elizabeth Providence Allan was born on 24 April 1847 at Cramond, Midlothian, Scotland.² She was the daughter of Archibald Finnie Allan and Elizabeth Providence Durie.³
     Her married name became Anderson.

     Thomas Durrant is the son of William Durrant and Catherine Steward.¹

     Alethea Jill Clare Lawson was born on 9 December 1939.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Ralph Henry Lawson, 4th Bt. and Lilian Mary Chaytor.¹
     She lived in 2003 at The Stallion Box, High Green, Catteirck, Yorkshire, England^G.²

     Sir William Lawson, 1st Bt. was born on 8 May 1796.¹ He was the son of John Wright and Elizabeth Lawson.¹ He married Clarinda Catherine Lawson, daughter of John Lawson, on 20 October 1825.¹ He died on 22 June 1865 at age 69.¹
     He was given the name of William Wright at birth.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Lawson, of Brough Hall, Catterick, co. Yorks [U.K.] on 8 September 1841.¹

     Elizabeth Lawson was the daughter of Sir John Lawson, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Scarisbrick.¹ She married John Wright on 8 January 1789.¹ She died on 7 July 1812.¹
     From 8 January 1789, her married name became Wright.¹
