     Eudes I, Comte de Blois was the son of Thibaud I, Comte de Blois and Luitgarda de Vermandois.2 He married Bertha de Bourgogne, daughter of Conrad, Roi de Jurane Bourgogne and Mathilde des Francs, circa 983. He died on 12 March 996.1,2
     He succeeded as the Comte de Blois in 978.1

     Thomas Cecil, 1st Earl of Exeter was born on 5 March 1542.1 He was the son of William Cecil, 1st Baron of Burghley and Mary Cheke.1 He married, firstly, Dorothy Neville, daughter of John Neville, 4th Lord Latymer and Lady Lucy Somerset, on 27 November 1564.3 He married, secondly, Frances Brydges, daughter of William Brydges, 4th Baron Chandos of Sudeley and Mary Hopton, in 1610.3 He died on 8 February 1622/23 at age 80.3
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stamford between 1563 and 1567.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stamford in 1571.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stamford between 1572 and 1583.4 He was appointed Knight in 1575.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire between 1584 and 1587.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northamptonshire from 1592 to 1593.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron of Burghley, co. Northampton [E., 1571] on 4 August 1598.4 He held the office of Lord President of the Council of the North between 1599 and 1603.3 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Yorkshire between 1599 and 1603.3 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1601.3 He was created 1st Earl of Exeter [England] on 4 May 1605.4 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.5

     Ida von Sachsen was born in 1035.1 She married Friedrich II Graf von Luxemburg Herzog von Lothringen, son of Friedrich I von Luxemburg Graf im Moselgau and Ermentrude von der Wetterau Gräfin von Gleiberg.1 She married, firstly, Albert III, Comte de Namur, son of Albert II, Comte de Namur and Regulinde de Basse-Lorraine, circa 1067.1 She died on 31 July 1102.1
     She was also known as Ida Billung.2

     Lambert II, Comte de Louvain was born circa 995 at Lorraine, FranceG.2 He was the son of Lambert I, Comte de Louvain and Gerberge de Basse-Lorraine.1 He married Oda de Basse-Lorraine, daughter of Gozelo I der Große Herzog von Niederlothringen and unknown wife (?).2 He died on 19 June 1054 at Doornik, BelgiumG.3
     Lambert II, Comte de Louvain also went by the nick-name of Lambert 'the Belted'.1 He gained the title of Comte de Louvain.1
