     Sir Oliver Crofton, 5th Bt. was the son of Oliver Crofton and Katherine Armstrong.² He married Abigail Jackson Buckley on 6 December 1737.¹ He died on 9 November 1780, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Crofton, of The Mote, co. Roscommon [I., 1661] on 26 March 1745.¹ He lived at Galbally, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Lissanarre, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Abigail Jackson Buckley married Sir Oliver Crofton, 5th Bt., son of Oliver Crofton and Katherine Armstrong, on 6 December 1737.¹ She died in December 1763, without issue.¹
     She was heiress of estates in Cumberland, Yorkshire, Lancashire and County Dublin.¹ From 6 December 1737, her married name became Crofton.

     Thomas Croker was the son of John Croker.² He married Anne Ryves, daughter of William Ryves.³ He died on 13 April 1800.³
     He lived at Baxtown, County Kildare, Ireland^G.⁴

     Lady Jane Bertie was born circa 1720. She was the daughter of Peregrine Bertie, 2nd Duke of Ancaster and Kesteven and Jane Brownlow.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Edward Mathew on 21 March 1753.¹ She died on 21 August 1793.
     From 21 March 1753, her married name became Mathew.¹

     John Frederick Lowther Crofton was born on 13 October 1758.¹ He was the son of Sir Marcus Lowther-Crofton, 1st Bt. and Catherine Crofton.² He married Mary Thorney.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 32nd Regiment.¹ He had two daughters and four other sons.¹

     Mary Thorney married John Frederick Lowther Crofton, son of Sir Marcus Lowther-Crofton, 1st Bt. and Catherine Crofton.¹ She died in 1799.¹
     Her married name became Crofton.

     Captain Edward Lowther Crofton was born on 24 November 1783.¹ He was the son of John Frederick Lowther Crofton and Mary Thorney.² He married Mary Leader, daughter of William Leader, on 23 April 1816.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹
