Captain John Russell Pound was born on 7 June 1887.1 He was the son of Sir John Lulham Pound, 2nd Bt. and Julia Isabella Allen.2 He married Elsie Irene Pendlebury, daughter of William Henry Pendlebury, on 31 March 1914.1 He died on 27 April 1915 at age 27, killed in action.1

Graham Trevor Pound was born on 23 January 1890.1 He was the son of Sir John Lulham Pound, 2nd Bt. and Julia Isabella Allen.2 He died on 23 February 1964 at age 74, unmarried.1
He was educated at Merchant Taylors' School, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Engineers.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1919, where he was wounded.1 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.Inst.C.E.)1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1949.1
