Jane Chisholm was born on 13 July 1555.1 She was the daughter of James Chisholm, 3rd of Cromlix and Jean Drummond.2,3 She married James Drummond, 1st Lord Maderty, son of David Drummond, 2nd Lord Drummond and Lilias Ruthven.4 She died in November 1589 at age 34.1

John Drummond, 2nd Lord Maderty was the son of James Drummond, 1st Lord Maderty and Jane Chisholm.1 A contract for the marriage of John Drummond, 2nd Lord Maderty and Margaret Leslie was signed on 30 April 1609.2 He died between 1649 and 1651.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Maderty [S., 1609] in September 1623.3 He fought in the English Civil War, as a Royalist.1
