     Isabella Carr was the daughter of Sir William Carr.¹ She married James Hay, 15th Earl of Erroll, son of William Boyd, 4th Earl of Kilmarnock and Lady Anne Livingston, in 1762.¹ She died on 3 November 1808.¹
     After her marriage, Isabella Carr was styled as Countess of Erroll in 1762. From 1762, her married name became Hay.

     Rebecca Lockhart was the daughter of Alexander Lockhart, Lord Covington.¹ She married James Hay, 15th Earl of Erroll, son of William Boyd, 4th Earl of Kilmarnock and Lady Anne Livingston, on 15 September 1749.¹ She died on 2 May 1761.¹
     Her married name became Hay. After her marriage, Rebecca Lockhart was styled as Countess of Erroll on 19 August 1758.

     Edward Townshend was the son of Lee Porcher Townshend.¹

     George Hay, 16th Earl of Erroll was born on 13 May 1767.¹ He was the son of James Hay, 15th Earl of Erroll and Isabella Carr.¹ He married Elizabeth Jemima Blake, daughter of Joseph Blake and Honoria Daly, on 25 January 1790 in a childless marriage.² He died on 14 June 1798 at age 31, by suicide, after inadvertently disclosing a secret entrusted to him by Pitt the Younger.^2,1
     He succeeded as the 17th Lord Hay [S., 1430] on 3 July 1778.¹ He succeeded as the 16th Earl of Erroll [S., 1452] on 3 July 1778.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 1st Guards.¹ He fought in the Walcheran Expedition.¹ He held the office of Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1796 and 1798.¹

     Elizabeth Jemima Blake was the daughter of Joseph Blake and Honoria Daly.¹ She married, firstly, George Hay, 16th Earl of Erroll, son of James Hay, 15th Earl of Erroll and Isabella Carr, on 25 January 1790 in a childless marriage.¹ She married, secondly, Rt. Hon. John Hookham Frere, son of John Frere and Jane Hookham, on 12 September 1816.¹ She died on 17 January 1831.¹
     After her marriage, Elizabeth Jemima Blake was styled as Countess of Erroll on 25 January 1790.¹ From 25 January 1790, her married name became Hay.¹ From 12 September 1816, her married name became Frere.¹

     George Frederick Samuel Robinson, 1st Marquess of Ripon was born on 24 October 1827.³ He was the son of Frederick John Robinson, 1st Earl of Ripon and Lady Sarah Albinia Louisa Hobart.⁴ He married Henrietta Anne Theodosia Vyner, daughter of Henry Vyner and Lady Mary Gertrude Weddell, on 8 April 1851.³ He died on 9 July 1909 at age 81.³

Bedford [U.K., 1816] on 14 November 1859.³ He held the office of Lord President of the Council between 1868 and 1873.³ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) on 11 December 1869.¹ He was created 1st Marquess of Ripon [U.K.] on 23 June 1871.³ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of the North Riding, Yorkshire between 1873 and 1906.³ He held the office of Governor-General and Viceroy of India between 1880 and 1884.³ He held the office of First Lord of the Admiralty in 1886.³ He held the office of Mayor of Ripon in 1895.³ He held the office of Lord Privy Seal between 1905 and 1908.³

     Samuel Ashton was born in 1674.¹ He was the son of Joseph Ashton.¹ He married Jane Kinder, daughter of John Kinder.¹ He died in 1754.¹
     He lived at Gerrards, Hyde, Cheshire, England^G.¹

     Lady Agnes Sinclair was the daughter of George Sinclair, 4th Earl of Caithness and Lady Elizabeth Graham.¹ She married, firstly, Andrew Hay, 8th Earl of Erroll, son of George Hay, 7th Earl of Erroll and Margaret Robertson, circa 20 September 1581.¹ She married, secondly, Alexander Gordon of Strathdon, son of George Gordon, 5th Earl of Huntly, after 1585.¹
     From circa 20 September 1581, her married name became Hay.¹ From after 1585, her married name became Gordon.¹

     Agnes Wilkie is the daughter of Sir John Wilkie.¹ She married William Ross, 12th Lord Ross of Halkhead, son of George Ross, 11th Lord Ross of Halkhead and Lady Grizel Cochrane.¹
     Her married name became Ross.¹

     Isabel Cheyne is the daughter of Patrick Cheyne, 8th of Essilmont and Helen Bryson.^1,2 She married, secondly, George Hay, 1st of Kellour, son of Andrew Hay, 8th Earl of Erroll and Lady Agnes Sinclair.¹ She married, firstly, Patrick Hay, 5th of Megginch, son of Peter Hay, 4th of Megginch and Margaret Ogilvy, after 29 October 1596.^1,2
     She was also known as Elizabeth Cheyne.³ From after 29 October 1596, her married name became Hay.¹
