     Lt.-Col. James Drummond Buller-Fullerton-Elphinstone was born on 4 May 1788.1,2 He was the son of Hon. William Fullerton-Elphinstone and Elizabeth Fullerton.3 He married, firstly, Diana Maria Clavering, daughter of Charles John Clavering, on 30 September 1820.1 He married, secondly, Anna Maria Buller, daughter of Admiral Sir Edward Buller, 1st Bt. and Gertrude van Cortlandt, on 25 February 1824.1 He died on 8 March 1857 at age 68.1
     He was given the name of James Drummond Fullerton-Elphinstone at birth.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.1 His name was legally changed to James Drummond Buller-Fullerton-Elphinstone.1

     Diana Maria Clavering was born on 8 June 1801.2 She was the daughter of Charles John Clavering.3 She married Lt.-Col. James Drummond Buller-Fullerton-Elphinstone, son of Hon. William Fullerton-Elphinstone and Elizabeth Fullerton, on 30 September 1820.1 She died on 24 December 1821 at age 20, without issue.1
     Her married name became Fullerton-Elphinstone.

     Anna Maria Buller was baptised on 14 November 1799 at Stoke Fleming, Devon, England.2 She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Edward Buller, 1st Bt. and Gertrude van Cortlandt.1,2 She married Lt.-Col. James Drummond Buller-Fullerton-Elphinstone, son of Hon. William Fullerton-Elphinstone and Elizabeth Fullerton, on 25 February 1824.1 She died on 16 February 1845 at age 45.
     From 25 February 1824, her married name became Buller-Fullerton-Elphinstone.1

     Admiral Sir Edward Buller, 1st Bt. was born in 1764.2 He was the son of John Buller and Mary St. Aubyn.3 He married Gertrude van Cortlandt, daughter of Colonel Philip van Cortlandt, on 15 May 1790 at Halifax, Nova Scotia, CanadaG.4,5 He died circa 19 April 1824.2 He was buried on 22 April 1824 at Duloe, Cornwall, England.6
     He lived at Trenant Park, Cornwall, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Buller. He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral of the Blue in 1809.7 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral of the Red in 1812.7

     Sir Patrick Ogilvy of Auchterhouse was the son of Sir Alexander Ogilvy of Auchterhouse.2 He married Christian Keith, daughter of Sir Alexander Keith of Grandon, before 1413.3 He died in 1429, drowned at sea on the way from France to Scotland.3
     He held the office of Sheriff of Angus.2 He lived at Auchterhouse, Angus, ScotlandG.2 He held the office of Justiciar of Scotland north of the Forth in 1427.3

     Robert Power Trench, 4th Baron Ashtown was born on 27 April 1897.1 He was the son of Frederic Oliver Trench, 3rd Baron Ashtown and Violet Grace Cosby.1 He married, firstly, Geraldine Ida Grey, daughter of Sir Henry Foley Grey, 7th Bt. and Catherine Sarah Payne, on 20 October 1926.1 He and Geraldine Ida Grey were divorced in 1938.1 He married, secondly, Oonah Anne Green-Wilkinson, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Lewis Frederick Green-Wilkinson and Sarah May Trench, on 27 June 1950.1 He died on 3 November 1966 at age 69, without issue.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Royal West Surrey Regiment.3 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Ashtown, of Moate, co. Galway [I., 1800] on 20 March 1946.1

     Geraldine Ida Grey was born on 13 June 1898.2 She was the daughter of Sir Henry Foley Grey, 7th Bt. and Catherine Sarah Payne.1,3 She married, firstly, Robert Power Trench, 4th Baron Ashtown, son of Frederic Oliver Trench, 3rd Baron Ashtown and Violet Grace Cosby, on 20 October 1926.1 She and Robert Power Trench, 4th Baron Ashtown were divorced in 1938.1 She married, secondly, Edmond Robert Richard O'Brien, son of Edmond Lyons O'Brien and Audrey Townsend Crawford, in April 1938.2 She died on 11 October 1940 at age 42, as the result of an accident.1,4
     From 20 October 1926, her married name became Trench.1 From April 1938, her married name became O'Brien.2
