     Nicholas Tufton, 3rd Earl of Thanet was born on 7 August 1631.¹ He was the son of John Tufton, 2nd Earl of Thanet and Lady Margaret Sackville.¹ He married Lady Elizabeth Boyle, daughter of Richard Boyle, 2nd Earl of Cork and Elizabeth Clifford, Baroness Clifford, on 11 April 1664.² He died on 24 November 1679 at age 48, without issue.¹
     In 1655 he was imprisoned in the Tower of London (and again 1656-8) for an alleged conspiracy to capture King Charles II.³ He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of the Isle of Thanet, co. Kent [E., 1628] on 6 May 1664.⁴ He gained the rank of Captain of Horse in 1666.³ He succeeded as the 15th Lord Clifford [E., 1299] on 14 October 1678, de jure.¹

     Lady Jane Georgina Dalrymple was born on 28 April 1850 at Dailly, Ayrshire, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of John Hamilton Dalrymple, 10th Earl of Stair and Louisa Jane Henrietta Emily de Franquetot.² She was baptised on 22 August 1852 at Inch, Wigtownshire, Scotland.¹ She married Brig.-Gen. Sir Arthur Pendarves Vivian, son of John Henry Vivian and Sarah Jones, on 10 March 1880.³ She died on 8 June 1914 at age 64.³
     Her married name became Vivian.

     Sir Ernest Burford Horlick, 2nd Bt. was born on 29 February 1880.² He was the son of Sir James Horlick, 1st Bt. and Margaret Adelaide Burford.² He married, firstly, Jane Shillaber Martin, daughter of Colonel Cunliffe Martin, on 31 December 1902.² He and Jane Shillaber Martin were divorced in 1929.² He married, secondly, Sonia Sohie Theolesco, daughter of George Theolesco, on 17 February 1931.² He died on 7 October 1934 at age 54.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.³ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Air Force.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Horlick, of Cowley Manor, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1914] on 7 May 1921.²

     Elizabeth Dashwood was born in 1741 at Kirtlington, Oxfordshire, England^G.³ She was the daughter of Sir James Dashwood, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Spencer.⁴ She married George Montagu, 4th Duke of Manchester, son of Robert Montagu, 3rd Duke of Manchester and Harriet Dunch, on 23 October 1762 at St. Georges Hanover Square, Westminster, London, England^G.³ She died on 26 June 1832.¹
     From 23 October 1762, her married name became Montagu. After her marriage, Elizabeth Dashwood was styled as Duchess of Manchester on 23 October 1762.

     Lady Cecilia Maria Charlotte Molyneux was born in 1838. She was the daughter of Charles William Molyneux, 3rd Earl of Sefton and Mary Augusta Gregge-Hopwood.^1,2 She married Maj.-Gen. Hugh Richard Dawnay, 8th Viscount Downe, son of William Henry Dawnay, 7th Viscount Downe and Mary Isabel Bagot, on 12 July 1869.¹ She died on 26 May 1910.²
     From 12 July 1869, her married name became Dawnay. After her marriage, Lady Cecilia Maria Charlotte Molyneux was styled as Viscountess Downe on 12 July 1869. She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Victoria.¹ She was appointed Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.)¹

     Florence Faith Dening was born on 20 December 1875.^3,4 She was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Henry Trickey Dening and Florence Cole O'Halloran.^1,3 She married, firstly, Maj.-Gen. Hugh Richard Dawnay, 8th Viscount Downe, son of William Henry Dawnay, 7th Viscount Downe and Mary Isabel Bagot, on 27 July 1911.⁵ She married, secondly, Reverend Arthur Maxwell Bury on 15 April 1931.¹ She died on 23 January 1958 at age 82.¹
     From 27 July 1911, her married name became Dawnay. After her marriage, Florence Faith Dening was styled as Viscountess Downe on 27 July 1911. From 15 April 1931, her married name became Bury. She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)¹ She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northamptonshire.¹

     Reverend Thomas Henry Trickey Dening was born on 8 April 1842.² He was the son of John Dening and Anne Salter.² He was baptised on 13 May 1842 at St. Mary's Church, Ottery St. Mary, Devon, England.² He married, firstly, Emma Geraldine Henrietta Hooper on 2 October 1868.³ He married, secondly, Florence Cole O'Halloran, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Henry Dunn O'Halloran and Charlotte Eliza Robertson, on 6 November 1873 at St. Luke's, South Lyncombe, Bath, Somerset, England.^3,2 He died on 20 February 1927 at age 84 at West Derby, Lancashire, England.²
     He was the Vicar at Holy Trinity, Kilburn, London, England^G.¹

     Reverend Arthur Maxwell Bury married Florence Faith Dening, daughter of Reverend Thomas Henry Trickey Dening and Florence Cole O'Halloran, on 15 April 1931.¹ He died on 29 December 1936.¹
     He was the Vicar at Loose, Maidenstone, Kent, England^G.¹

     Dorothy ffolkes was born on 21 June 1876.² She was the daughter of Sir William Hovell Browne ffolkes, 3rd Bt. and Emily Charlotte Elwes.² She married John Dawnay, 9th Viscount Downe, son of Maj.-Gen. Hugh Richard Dawnay, 8th Viscount Downe and Lady Cecilia Maria Charlotte Molyneux, on 24 July 1902.¹ She died on 23 March 1957 at age 80.¹
     Her married name became Dawnay. After her marriage, Dorothy ffolkes was styled as Viscountess Downe on 21 January 1924. She held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk in 1934.¹

     Sir William Hovell Browne ffolkes, 3rd Bt. was born on 21 November 1847.² He was the son of Martin William Browne ffolkes and Henrietta Bridget Wale.³ He married Emily Charlotte Elwes, daughter of Robert Elwes and Mary Frances Lucas, on 6 April 1875.¹ He died on 9 May 1912 at age 64.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet ffolkes, of Hillington, Norfolk [G.B., 1774] on 24 March 1860.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He gained the rank of Honorary Major in the 2nd Brigade Eastern Division, Royal Artillery.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Norfolk in 1876.² He held the office of Chairman and Alderman of the Norfolk County Council.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for King's Lynn between 1880 and 1885.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.²
