Sophia Charlotte Howe, Baroness Howe of Langar was born on 19 February 1762.2 She was the daughter of Admiral Richard Howe, 1st and last Earl Howe and Mary Hartopp.2 She married, firstly, Hon. Penn Assheton Curzon, son of Assheton Curzon, 1st Viscount Curzon of Penn and Esther Hanmer, on 31 July 1787.1 She married, secondly, Sir Jonathan Wathen Waller, 1st Bt., son of Joshua Phipps and Mary Allen, on 1 October 1812.2 She died on 3 December 1835 at age 73.2
From 31 July 1787, her married name became Curzon. She succeeded as the 2nd Baroness Howe of Langar, co. Nottingham [G.B., 1788] on 5 August 1799.2 From 1 October 1812, her married name became Waller.

Sir Jonathan Wathen Waller, 1st Bt. was born on 6 October 1769.2 He was the son of Joshua Phipps and Mary Allen.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Slack, daughter of Thomas Slack, on 23 February 1793.2 He married, secondly, Sophia Charlotte Howe, Baroness Howe of Langar, daughter of Admiral Richard Howe, 1st and last Earl Howe and Mary Hartopp, on 1 October 1812.1 He died on 1 January 1853 at age 83.1

Admiral Richard Howe, 1st and last Earl Howe was born on 19 March 1725/26.1 He was the son of Emanuel Scrope Howe, 2nd Viscount Howe and Mary Sophia Charlotte Kielmansegge.1 He married Mary Hartopp, daughter of Chiverton Hartopp, on 10 March 1758.1 He died on 5 August 1799 at age 73, without male issue.1

Robert Boyd, 8th Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock was born circa 1618.1 He was the son of Robert Boyd, 7th Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock and Lady Christian Hamilton.1 He married Lady Anne Fleming, daughter of John Fleming, 2nd Earl of Wigton and Margaret Livingstone, on 10 September 1639.2 He died on 17 November 1640, from a fever, without male issue.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 9 March 1641/42.2
