Mary, Countess of Kincardine

     Mary Nisbet was the daughter of William Hamilton Nisbet and Mary Manners.1,3 She married, secondly, Robert Ferguson of Raith.1 She married, firstly, General Thomas Bruce, 11th Earl of Kincardine, son of Charles Bruce, 9th Earl of Kincardine and Martha Whyte, on 11 March 1799.1 She and General Thomas Bruce, 11th Earl of Kincardine were divorced in 1808.1 She died on 9 July 1855.
     Her married name became Ferguson.1 From 11 March 1799, her married name became Bruce. After her marriage, Mary Nisbet was styled as Countess of Elgin and Kincardine on 11 March 1799.

     Lady Georgiana Frederica Montagu was the daughter of William Montagu, 5th Duke of Manchester and Lady Susan Gordon.1 She married Evan Baillie of Dochfour, son of Peter Baillie of Dochfour and Elizabeth Pinney, on 11 October 1823 at Kimbolton, Huntingdonshire, England.2,3 She died on 30 July 1892.2
     Her married name became Baillie.

     Evan Baillie of Dochfour was born on 1 April 1798 at Somerton Erleigh, Somerset, England.2,3 He was the son of Peter Baillie of Dochfour and Elizabeth Pinney.1 He married, firstly, Charlotte Augusta Baillie, daughter of Venerable Charles Baillie and Lady Charlotte Home, on 9 August 1821.2 He married, secondly, Lady Georgiana Frederica Montagu, daughter of William Montagu, 5th Duke of Manchester and Lady Susan Gordon, on 11 October 1823 at Kimbolton, Huntingdonshire, England.2,3 He died on 6 April 1883 at age 85 at Florence, Italy.2,3
     He lived at Dochfour, Inverness-shire, ScotlandG.4

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Robert Lygon was born on 9 August 1879.2 He was the son of Frederick Lygon, 6th Earl Beauchamp and Lady Emily Annora Charlotte Pierrepont.1,2 He married Cecilia Albinia Arbuthnot, daughter of Sir George Gough Arbuthnot and Isabella Albinia Boyle, on 10 October 1903.1 He died on 13 January 1952 at age 72.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was wounded.2 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1910.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)2
