     William Latham Blacker was born on 26 October 1745 at Rathescar, County Louth, Ireland.1,2 He was the son of Latham Blacker and Martha Beaver.1 He married Mary Hamlin, daughter of Thomas Hamlin, in 1773, leaving issue in addition to the son listed.1 He died in 1810.1

     His name was legally changed to Latham Hamlin when he assumed his mother's maiden surname in place of his father's.1 He was born with the name of Latham Blacker.1

     Latham Blacker was born on 25 October 1793.1 He was the son of Beaver Blacker and Susan Blacker.1 He married, firstly, Catherine Miller, daughter of Reverend George Miller and Elizabeth Ball, on 30 April 1820.1 He died on 20 April 1872 at age 78.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tyrone.1 He lived at Airfield, Donnybrook, Glenkeen, County Londonderry, IrelandG.1 He lived at Lishnahanna, County Tyrone, IrelandG.1
