     Hon. Alexander David Smith was born on 11 March 1959.¹ He is the son of William Herbert Smith, 4th Viscount Hambleden and Donna Maria Carmela Attolico di Adelfa.¹

     General Hon. Sir Henry Ramsay was born on 25 August 1816.² He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. John Ramsay and Mary Delise.² He married Laura Lushington, daughter of Sir Henry Lushington, 3rd Bt. and Eliza Louisa Trower, on 11 November 1850.² He died on 16 December 1893 at age 77.²
     In 1864 he was granted the rank of a baron's younger son.² He gained the rank of General in the Bengal Army.² He was Commissioner of Kumaon.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.)¹

     Emily Stuart was the daughter of James Stuart.¹ She married Luke White, 2nd Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline, son of Henry White, 1st Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline and Ellen Dempster, on 24 August 1853.¹ She died on 22 January 1915.²
     Her married name became White. After her marriage, Emily Stuart was styled as Baroness Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline on 3 September 1873.

     Luke White, 3rd Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline was born on 25 February 1857.¹ He was the son of Luke White, 2nd Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline and Emily Stuart.¹ He married Hon. Lilah Georgiana Augusta Constance Agar-Ellis, daughter of Henry Agar-Ellis, 3rd Viscount Clifden of Gowran and Eliza Horatia Frederica Seymour, on 24 July 1884 at St. James's, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He died on 15 December 1922 at age 65 at Holdenby House, Northamptonshire, England^G.² He was buried on 19 December 1922 at Holdenby, Northamptonshire, England^G.²
     He gained the rank of officer in 1877 in the Scots Guards.¹ He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882, where he won a medal, clasp and bronze star.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1888 in the Scots Guards.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline, co. Longford [U.K., 1863] on 16 March 1888.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.)³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Longford.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)³ He gained the rank of honorary Colonel in the Northamptonshire Yeomnary.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Northamptonshire.³ He held the office of Lord of the Bedchamber to HRH The Prince of Wales between 1908 and 1910.³ He held the office of Permanent Lord-in-Waiting to HM King George V between 1910 and 1921.³ He was appointed Grand Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur French.³
     He was a Liberal Unionist in his politics.¹

     Lady Mary FitzPatrick was born before 1751.³ She was the daughter of John FitzPatrick, 1st Earl of Upper Ossory and Lady Evelyn Leveson-Gower.¹ She married Stephen Fox, 2nd Baron Holland of Foxley, son of Henry Fox, 1st Baron Holland of Foxley and Georgiana Carolina Lennox, Lady Holland, Baroness of Holland, on 20 April 1766 at London, England^G.¹ She died on 6 October 1778.
     Her married name became Fox.

     Lady Sarah Lennox was born on 14 February 1745. She was the daughter of General Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond and Lady Sarah Cadogan.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Charles Bunbury, 6th Bt., son of Reverend Sir William Bunbury, 5th Bt. and Eleanor Graham, on 2 June 1762 at Holland House Chapel, Kensington, London, England^G.³ She and Sir Thomas Charles Bunbury, 6th Bt. were divorced on 14 May 1776 dissolved by Act of Parliament.³ She married, secondly, Colonel Hon. George Napier, son of Francis Napier, 6th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Henrietta Maria Johnston, on 27 August 1781.¹ She died in August 1826 at age 81.¹
     The Prince of Wales (later King George III) was supposed to have been enamoured with her.³ From 2 June 1762, her married name became Bunbury. From 27 August 1781, her married name became Napier.

     Georgiana Carolina Lennox, Lady Holland, Baroness of Holland was born on 27 March 1723.¹ She was the daughter of General Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond and Lady Sarah Cadogan.¹ She married Henry Fox, 1st Baron Holland of Foxley, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Stephen Fox and Christiana Hope, on 2 May 1744 at London, England^G.¹ She died on 24 July 1774 at age 51.³
     Her married name became Fox. She was created 1st Lady Holland, Baroness of Holland [Great Britain] on 3 May 1762, with remainder to her heirs male.¹

     Simon Alexander Vivian Baring was born on 22 November 1905.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Guy Victor Baring and Olive Althea Smith.¹ He married, firstly, Jeanne Salmond, daughter of Felix Salmond, on 1 May 1935.¹ He and Jeanne Salmond were divorced in 1946.¹ He married, secondly, Pamela Rachel Grant-Sturgis, daughter of Sir Mark Beresford Russell Sturgis, on 24 October 1946.¹ He died on 2 November 1962 at age 56.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Welsh Guards.¹

     Lady Barbara Ashley-Cooper was born in 1788.² She was the daughter of Anthony Ashley-Cooper, 5th Earl of Shaftesbury and Barbara Webb.¹ She married William Francis Spencer Ponsonby, 1st Baron de Mauley of Canford, son of Frederick Ponsonby, 3rd Earl of Bessborough and Lady Henrietta Frances Spencer, on 8 August 1814.³ She died on 5 June 1844.¹
     Her married name became Ponsonby. After her marriage, Lady Barbara Ashley-Cooper was styled as Baroness de Mauley of Canford on 10 July 1838.

     Anthony Ashley-Cooper, 5th Earl of Shaftesbury was born on 17 September 1761.² He was the son of Anthony Ashley-Cooper, 4th Earl of Shaftesbury and Hon. Mary Bouverie.² He married Barbara Webb, daughter of Sir John Webb, 5th Bt. and Mary Salvain, on 17 July 1786.² He died on 14 May 1811 at age 49.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.² He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Cooper, of Rockbourne, Hampshire [E., 1622] on 27 May 1771.² He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Shaftesbury [E., 1672] on 27 May 1771.² He succeeded as the 5th Baron Cooper of Pawlett, co. Somerset [E., 1661] on 27 May 1771.² He succeeded as the 5th Baron Ashley of Wimborne St. Giles, co. Dorset [E., 1661] on 27 May 1771.² He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1785.² He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1785.²
